Bend Among Top 10

Drake Park in Bend, OregonAccording to FrontDoor.com, Bend is one of the top 10 cities among the 366 metropolitan areas tracked by the U.S. Census Bureau which grew the fastest over the past decade.

The growth continues with home sales on the rise and inventory levels declining. Most popular neighborhoods: Awbrey Butte, Broken Top, Northwest Crossing, among others.

Known as a gateway for mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing and other outdoor sports, this scenic Oregon city has attracted more than 40,000 adventurous residents in the last decade. Initially a logging town, Bend has since become a hotspot for entrepreneurs in technology, biosciences, renewable energy and other fields. While the city has maintained a small-town feel, its exponential growth has brought big-city amenities, such as top-rated restaurants, boutique shops and a vibrant music scene.
